PC-CARE Phase 1 - Skill Building (REQUIRED)
Covers what PC-CARE is, the research behind it, and the importance and relevance of the treatment modality. This is required for all trainees and will gauge interest of the providers in the program. This is open to all levels of providers and does not have a cap on attendance.

PC-CARE Phase 2 - Experiential Training and Certification (REQUIRED)
At the training, trainees will learn:

how to code a DPICS observation from videos and live role-playing
-
how to conduct each session of PC-CARE from Pre-treatment to Session 6
-
how to coach different families in the PC-CARE skills
-
how to use the assessment forms

complete 6 Sample Case worksheets
-
get signed off 10 times with 80% accuracy for coding

After the experiential training days, each trainee will receive:

7 - 30 minute Prep Calls with Trainer

Review of Trainee videos by trainer with written feedback

Support in checking off competencies for certification
